Are you looking to immerse yourself in an enriching blend of creativity and technology? Look no further than MakerspaceCT's Cosplay Workshop!

This four-week program is designed to ignite passion and skill in young artists like you, combining the worlds of arts and technology to craft personalized cosplay creations.

From foamsmithing to sewing, our curriculum offers a hands-on experience like no other. With a small class size of only 10 students, you’ll receive personalized attention and guidance to ensure you walk away not only with your own unique creation but also with a newfound confidence in your artistic and technical skills.


THE STUDENTS

Young Adults aged 18-24. Must be Connecticut residents. Class size is limited to 10 students.

    "Open Cosplay" at MakerspaceCT is a vibrant workshop where members can bring their cosplay creations to fruition with expert guidance. This open studio session provides access to designated staff who offer sewing advice and assistance, ensuring safe and effective cosplay construction. Participants must have completed the prerequisite "Sewing Safety Cert" course, enabling them to confidently explore their cosplay skills and creativity in a supportive environment. This does not include instruction on FOAM-SMITHING. Join Open Cosplay to bring your favorite characters to life and elevate your cosplay game!



      Before the Class: Come with a project in mind! Our instructor will assist you in moving it forward.


      All people are welcome in this class and an active effort will be made to be inclusive to all people. This class will not tolerate sexism, ableism, racism, homophobia, or transphobia. MakerspaceCT is for everyone.
