Photogrammetry is a method of using photographic information to establish points in three-dimensional space. It is an increasingly accessible tool for developing 3d objects without the use of expensive scanning equipment. Students will learn the techniques and software used to allow them to translate real objects into usable digital objects. There are few limitations of scale, very small and very large objects can be captured. This makes this skill appealing to museums, geographical mapping firms, product design, and many more.
