Participants will be introduced to the Arduino Microcontroller, its Development Environment, basic programming syntax, and a variety of inputs and outputs.
In this course, students will (either themselves or with a partner):
  • Install and configure the Arduino Development Environment (ADE) on Windows, macOS, or Linux.
  • Configure ADE to communicate with an Arduino UNO microcontroller over a USB serial connection.
Write a series of simple programs to retrieve inputs (switches, potentiometers, sensors) and send outputs (LEDs, buzzer, display).
