In this online class, students will learn Inkscape for the laser cutter! This platform is a favorite of makers everywhere for its lightweight, free and open-source model with a thriving community to support it. Inkscape is professional quality vector graphics software which runs on Linux, Mac OS X and Windows desktop computers. It integrates neatly with laser operations, allowing quick and easy creation of simple, yet slick designs. This class is suitable for anyone who has experience with Inkscape or Illustrator and wants to hone their skills, or absolute beginners.
To participate in this class you will need to install Inkscape on to your desktop computer. Click here to download.
Bring a project you'd like to work on, and I'll help you design it! If you already took the basic inkscape class, join us for the second half and I'll help you as well.
