Siemens NX Basics: Intro to 3D Design
with Ben Parker
UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN BEST-IN-CLASS COMPUTER-AIDED INDUSTRIAL DESIGN SOFTWARE
In a beginner-friendly environment -- no experience necessary!
In this workshop, students will go over the basics of the CAD (computer-aided design) program NX, which they can use to create precise models that can be 3D printed or used for other modeling purposes. Students will learn about primitives (cubes, spheres, etc), sketches, various operations that can be applied to sketches (extrusion, revolution, etc). Through the basics, students will come to understand the interface that NX uses, and can grow their knowledge through specific project requirements. No CAD experience necessary.
