Join Ben for an online workshop on the creation, maintenance, and rapid modification of vector assets as typically utilized for board/card game design. Students will learn how to use Inkscape to lay out card and board graphics, write some rules, and pick up some philosophy/guidance on how modern board game design works.
Prerequisite: MakerspaceCT's Inkscape For The Laser Cutter class or familiarity with Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or other vector graphics software is a must, though class focus will be on Inkscape.
Inkscape is a free, open-source, professional-quality vector graphics software which runs on Linux, Mac OS X and Windows desktop computers. It is a favorite of makers everywhere for its lightweight, free and open-source model with a thriving community to support it.
