Additive Manufacturing Training Program with Loren Brandenburg from Olepi Labs

Are you ready to learn the skills necessary to start a career in additive manufacturing? The Additive Manufacturing Badging Program is a 13-week evening course in many of the skills necessary to work in additive manufacturing production environments. Over the course of this program, you will earn a series of digital badges through MakerspaceCT’s partnership with the New Collar Workforce. From design to post-processing, each badge will focus on a different aspect of Additive Manufacturing, including use of Siemens NX, the CAD choice of some of Connecticut’s largest manufacturers. At the conclusion of the program, you’ll be prepared to demonstrate your newly acquired skills through a portfolio of your work.

This is a project-based program which will include a substantial amount of work outside of class. Students will have access to the MakerspaceCT computer lab during our operating hours to work on projects outside of class. Office hours with teaching assistants will be available on Wednesday evening for the duration of the program.

Participants must commit to attending weekly Tuesday and Thursday evening workshops from May 11 through July 29, 2021.
