Digital Fab & Plastics Safety

Overview of safety policies and procedures for Digital Fabrication and Plastics Lab. Safety Certifications at MakerspaceCT are designed to ensure that you know the basics to work safely within the shop of your choice with a mixture of instruction and hands-on demonstration. Please register in advance for Safety Certifications.

This session covers safety for electronics, the 3D Printers, general plastics safety and a demo of the Vacuum Forming Machine. 

In order to comply with physical distancing and occupancy requirements, this program is currently limited to no more than two (2) participants at a time.

NOTE: Available to members and non-members. After taking the certification, future use of the space and equipment is available via our Digital Day Pass Program or by purchasing a membership.
