    Are you ready to dive into the real world of 3D Printing? Learn to design and prepare CAD models for 3D printing with this in-depth, free program.

    • Learn the design process from idea to real object
    • Master the basics of Computer-Aided Design
    • Discover the process of slicing models for 3D printing
    • Use technology in a brand new computer and manufacturing lab
    • Real instruction for real world skills!

    Program Breakdown:

    • Wk 1: Introductions to CAD
    • Wk 2: Drafting, Slicing, and Project 1
    • Wk 3: FDM Printing Operations and Project 2
    • Wk 4: Design object 4 and NX Basics
    • Wk 5: Design and print object 4
    • Wk 6: Resin Printing and object 5
    • Wk 7: Blender and self guided object 6
    • Wk 8: Develop your portfolios & resumes

    COHORT ORANGE is Thursdays and Sundays, May 26th through July 24th.

    This program is open to Hartford-area high school students. This entry level engineering program is a good step towards internship placements with ReadyCT.

    All sessions are on-site at MakerspaceCT in Downtown Hartford.
