CAD Basics with Onshape

Non-Members: $79 / Members $59

Students will learn the basics of the CAD (computer-aided design) program Onshape, which they can use to create precise models that can be 3D printed or used for other modeling purposes. Students will learn about primitives (cubes, spheres, etc), sketches, various operations that can be applied to sketches (extrusion, revolution, etc). Through the basics, students will come to understand the interface that Onshape uses, and can grow their knowledge through specific project requirements. No CAD experience necessary; this will be designed for beginners, but we request that you create an Onshape Free account and be ready with the login credentials with you at class! Feel free to explore the software in advance!
