One Session: 1.5 hours

Prerequisite: No prior coding experience required. Suitable for beginners.

Course Objectives: In this short course, participants will gain:

  1. Basic understanding of Python programming language.
  2. Fundamental coding concepts and syntax.
  3. Skills to write and execute simple Python programs.
  4. Confidence to explore further Python coding on their own.

Outcomes: Participants will be able to:

  1. Write and comprehend basic Python code.
  2. Understand key programming concepts like variables, loops, and conditional statements.
  3. Execute and troubleshoot simple Python programs.
  4. Acquire foundational skills for further exploration in Python coding.

Safety considerations: No safety considerations for coding. However, participants are encouraged to ask questions and seek clarification to enhance their learning experience.

Materials Included: All necessary software and coding environments will be provided during the course. Participants may their own laptop.
