Unlock the artistry of metal fabrication by crafting ornate steel roses in our hands-on workshop. This class is designed for individuals aged 18 and above, providing a step-by-step introduction to metal fabrication and MIG welding. Whether you're a member or non-member, join us for an immersive experience in the metal shop.

Course Highlights:

Proper Attire and Safety: Learn essential safety protocols and the proper attire for welding.

Basics of Welding: Explore the fundamentals of welding techniques using MIG welders.

Purpose of MIG Welding: Understand the applications and significance of MIG welding.

Hands-On Practice: Gain practical experience with extensive hands-on welding sessions.

Prior to the Class:

Upon registration, participants will receive a prerequisite assignment to be completed online before attending the in-person workshop. This assignment prepares students for the class.

Materials Included:

All necessary materials, including a variety of metals for experimentation, machines, consumables, safety equipment, and accessories, are provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies.


Welding is detailed work, and participants requiring corrective lenses for close-up tasks are advised to bring reading glasses or bifocals.
