Objectives:

In this class, participants will learn how to approach a simple woodworking project and break it down into segments.  You will learn to read a plan and diagram of the project, use some basic woodworking hand tools to break down one single board into the component parts of the birdhouse, and then assemble them into the finished product.

Outcomes:

  • How to use woodworking hand tools, including hand saw, block plane, measuring and layout tools, bit and brace, drill, hammer, and more.
  • Read a product/project plan and work from a cut list.
  • Assembly.

All materials and tools provided.
