"Open Weld" at MakerspaceCT is a dynamic workshop where members can bring their welding projects to life with expert guidance. This open studio session provides access to designated staff who offer advice and assistance, ensuring safe and effective welding practices. Participants must have completed the prerequisite "Intro to MIG Welding" course, allowing them to confidently explore their welding skills and creativity in a supportive environment. PLEASE NOTE! Welding is close, detailed work. If you need corrective lenses to see close objects, such as reading glasses or bifocals, please bring them.
