Women's Wood Shop Safety Certification with Syd

This session provides a detailed overview of safety policies and procedures for the Wood Shop. Safety Certifications at MakerspaceCT are designed to ensure that participants understand the fundamentals required to work safely and independently in the shop. These classes include a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on learning.

This Women’s Wood Shop Safety Certification is a women-centered session created to provide a comfortable and supportive learning environment for women and those who identify with this space. Our goal is to increase access, confidence, and skill development in the woodshop.

This certification is available to current members in good standing, or to non-members through a drop-in fee option for those interested in participating in our new monthly Women’s Open Wood Shop hours.
